Reviews about the marathon:

  • The route is good, with a slight incline, making it convenient to gauge your strength. Along the way, there are many supporters. Food and drink stations are frequently encountered. It's hard to compare when you haven't visited another major. But for me, it was a great sporting event.Starting from 15-17 degrees, it's cool, and by the end of the last 10 kilometers, the sun warmed up to 20-22 degrees.
I would recommend it to those who have previously run a marathon but have not participated in a major, and to those who have decided to collect all 6 majors.

  • The Berlin Marathon is my first major. Everything is superb - a fast, flat track, excellent German organization. There's a huge park where you can prepare for the race. It's a very friendly, multicultural city. The food is delicious and understandable. From my experience with five majors, it's the best post-race area, including massages, showers... The merchandise at the Expo is of the highest quality and endless (all sizes and colors). I personally witnessed how they brought in and unloaded clothing in advance by truckloads when supplies ran low.
